Bookworm: September

Oct 01, 2006 10:36

This is odd.  I went out to a party last night, didn't get home until 3, didn't fall asleep until sometime after 4, and now it's 10:36 am and I'm wide awake, updating Livejournal.  This 9-5 thing is really messing with that "sleeping in" system I had going.  Just saying.

I did better this time around in September because I managed to come across a lot of books I got into really quickly.  Always important.  Also, an important note, this is now past the half-year mark.  Overall, whether I've read them or not, this little project has had about 82 books fly through my radar.  5 months left.

September:

Purchased/Obtained:
Antonia Fraser:  Marie Antoinette:  The Journey

BPL:
Sigrid Nunez:  The Last of Her Kind
Truman Capote:  In Cold Blood
Truman Capote:  The Complete Stories of Truman Capote

Amy Krouse Rosenthal:  Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life

Completed:  Capote, Capote, Pollan, Rosenthal
Still Reading:  Fraser
Abandoned:  Nunez
