• I finally got something hanging-over from last downtime sorted out by the simple expedient of going there in person and asking nicely.

Any action at a LRP event which entails worried consultations between refs, followed by aforementioned refs checking things on a PC, more ref conversations with some other bits of ref team, consultations over the radio and summoning of the head ref is faintly worrying but also awesome ( Read more... )

I had a totally embarrassing OOC encounter at the Maelstrom event.  I usually blame hammerhydra for giving me a bad reputation, introducing me as he did to his group as “she probably killed your last character,” but I managed to bring this one upon myself.

Yay!  Still alive!
There may not actually be anyone out to get me.  It may just be rampant frothing paranoia on my character's part.  Who knows?  But she's damned well going to be paranoid.  Given how many of the group have gone missing over the last year or so, she has a point.

I don't have anything particularly interesting to say, so here's the image I made for my Maelstromic Insight scroll, using modified scans of woodcuts stolen from the interwebs. 
The actual thing is printed on red-gold shiny paper, but didn't look so good scanned. 
I just hope its intended recipient actually bothers unrolling it!
