I stopped feeding my dog wet food a while back because when I did, she had this annoying habit of pooping inside the house afterward. Well I was in Petsmart the other day to get her some new Nutro dry food and I noticed that the company also made wet food pouches. Savory beef stew? Heck, she'd love that! I think my house is slowly but surely resetting itself. First there was the issue with my air conditioner. As I mentioned in this post, I came home on Thursday night and my house was hot - 81 degrees and rising. The A/C was running, but no cold air was coming out. 1) What song would you sing to your newborn child? I always liked that "Hush little baby, don't you cry" song... I guess I could substitute "Daddy" for "Mama." :-P

Oh I am SO not a morning person! I want to sleep for about eight hours more... A noon wake-up time would be nice! But today's a heavy travel day. Heather and her parents are picking Phoebe and me up, and then we're driving to Ormond Beach to visit a friend of theirs. Yesterday as I was walking Phoebe, she started sniffing at something near one of our street's storm drains. In most instances, it would be another dog's poop. But not yesterday! This morning I took Phoebe up to Petsmart to get her picture taken with Santa. That may sound silly, but it was something to do and the proceeds go to the Humane Society - a good cause! We met up with Heather, who brought her Pomeranian, Barron (and his little Santa hat of course).

I had a pretty good turnout of trick-or-treaters at my house tonight, and I almost had to delve into my "reserve" (read: crappy) candy! But not quite. :-P The first kid showed up around 6:30 and the last one was at 9:05.
