I woke this morning to a frosty world and the sun through the woods. Sadness for what is to come, the loss of Tobacco and Motherfuss, and my father being seen by the dialysis team properly today 😕

Today I saw visible shock from my other postman when he saw my stick thin arm. Thanks to the uncontrolled diabetes Ketones are still being produced and I have lost yet more from my wrists and forearms. Another day passes in illness or really more illness than usual. I slept this afternoon, carer woke me when she arrived for tea, I spoke to my mum and then pretty much did very little (which I find deeply frustrating) and came to bed extremely early for me. Well my beautiful little cottage has made the decision for me, I had a drawer full of graphical art cards that I sold in the 1980s as I wasn't in work & the local 6th form wouldn't take me as we were in temporary accommodation (for 13 months!). Well earlier I said goodbye to my wonderful carer Royalty :-( She has been absolutely fantastic and a wonderful genuine no nonsense lass, mum to three. She takes everything in her stride, showing little emotion... Until we said Goodbye and hugged and both of us were trying not cry. I Hate change. I am going to miss her so Damn much :'(

I read of this the other week. Today was the Funeral of Olly, 12 who died in a freak accident by a safety fence watching his brother play football. Hundreds of football fans attended the funeral and his twin brother rode the front seat in an Aston Martin leading the funeral. Oh :-( I suppose with the chicken coop having gone today, it's fresh in my mind, the dusk is drawing in. I found myself about to get up to go check Sandi, check she was already in bed with the darkening dusk around me. Then I remembered. The wee feathered lass has a new home with new feathered friends.
