More estate weirdness here, the estate are actually painting my cottage external walls for the first time since I moved here. The walls have never been done, the front windows in 2004, the rear never in 15 years. Yesterday morning I woke up to find the estates trailer dumped outside my (new-dont-spoil-their-view-50%-less) garden with the remains of my beautiful Norwegian Fir. She was about 16ft tall, stunning, lots of new growth on her that always looked like candles to me. I didn't know where to start so I'll start with the least devastating destruction of the day. This one? This is just designed to piss off and show the tenant how worthless they are. This section of the garden should be ok but will be having the fence changed. The Rose Woman statue was for my 40th birthday from my parents. Poor Tobacco was buried at the top section before we had to exhume him 😞

I failed to mention the landlords visit Thursday week ago. I am to lose about 1/5 to 1/4 of my third of an acre garden. This meant that poor Tilly had to exhume poor Tobacco as he was buried next to the fence. Bloody hell, the plumber has replaced the ball cock in the attic central heating water tank which has been leaking some 4 months ...... The ball cock was 'Made in Britain'  1942! That made it 72 years old & brittle as hell as it started to fall apart upon removal :-( It's from World War 2, i could've donated it to Imperial War Museum lol Didn't get ( Read more... )
