Cottage Falling Apart for Lack of Repairs but Externally Painted!
More estate weirdness here, the estate are actually painting my cottage external walls for the first time since I moved here. The walls have never been done, the front windows in 2004, the rear never in 15 years. They Never warned me whatsoever and there was a guy outside the bedroom window, a step ladder immediately behind the loo window and a ladder outside of the front window. So No privacy at any of my ten windows and people up against four front windows! And because of my house being in the stables, I am now living in a strawberry and cream cottage. The front is now cream, the back the original pink! Oh well 😕 Cannot believe that they never once told me they'd be painted externally. I've windows rotten and falling out, the hall floor is collapsing and the front room floor has dropped and has woodworm. Plus Every room has damp, an outbuilding roof has leaked for 4 years and any material or papers stored on on the floor of 4 rooms rots with damp. I lose clothes in the wardrobe and chest of drawers but hey the outside will look good 😤 Along with my missing garden 😣
