72yr old Museum Piece ball cock!
Bloody hell, the plumber has replaced the ball cock in the attic central heating water tank which has been leaking some 4 months ...... The ball cock was 'Made in Britain' 1942! That made it 72 years old & brittle as hell as it started to fall apart upon removal :-( It's from World War 2, i could've donated it to Imperial War Museum lol Didn't get a chance to get a photo & I'm kinda gutted but wow!
I gave up waiting for the landlord to repair it, after 4 months of water pouring onto the very rotten window frame & soaking into the wall & no sign of repair in sight I gave in & got it fixed myself. But still 1942 ball cock lol
