After speaking to my family and friends, weighing the pros verses the cons, and just generally mulling it over quite a bit, I finally came to a decision. It was a tough one, but I hope that in the end it's worth it.

So my fridge is on the fritz. I first discovered this when I took the milk out this morning and found that the carton was alarmingly warm. Upon further investigation, I found that the little bit of frost on the chilled food section had melted and was dripping all over. I had a great day yesterday. Busy, but a good kind of busy. I went to five classes and two of those were elementary school. That's a record for me. I barely had time to breathe. Friday I finally broke down and turned on my air conditioner. Goodbye to my wonderful 2,500 yen electric bills. It has just gotten way too hot, even at night. Thursday night I slept very badly and woke up drenched in sweat. Boo. Still, I'm much more comfortable now than I was in winter.
