One of the things I've discovered over the past couple of days during brief periods of procrastination was this site: Spoonflower.com. This place lets you design and create short-run (3 yards [1 meter] or less) fabric.

The last of our business of ferrets, Trelane, has crossed the rainbow bridge a few minutes ago. Rich is digging his grave in the backyard, through the frozen ground. He probably just turned 7 years old, which is quite elderly for a ferret. I hope he is playing with Bitewald and Clarence, who preceded him over the rainbow bridge.

Trelane is home from the vet. His surgery went very well, according to his doctor. The tumor was "small to medium sized" and on the left adrenal gland (which is the "easy one", apparently. The other one has many more blood vessels). He's got a big incision on his belly and a bunch of staples. But he seems to be VERY happy to be home now.
