Today is the birthday  party. Four hours in a crowded room filled with teenagers and near-teenagers blasting each other on large monitors...I'm told they wear headphones. *gulp* Also #2 has to come with us since he can't stay home alone. (Can't he? whispers my dark angel. No, replies the light.)

It's been quite a busy return to work, not that it's precluded a little lunch hour writing, mind you! Lots of stuff to do, mostly boring, lots of stuff to plan, some interesting. This has been quite a week. I woke up Sunday unable to move my neck. Regardless, I got up and walked the dog. Go me. Better Monday, worse Tuesday, then gradual recovery thru the week. Ouch. Tuesday R went to Buffalo and he had a bit of trouble with his second bone marrow biopsy; still limping a bit, and very tired from the pain. Sympathy Ouch.
