I subscribe to the New York Times. I used to subscribe to the Washington Post and I need to do so again if only for the yuks. And the local news. Since all local news is gone bye-bye now.

Car is back in order with minimal disruption, but my long drawn out experiment did not go as planned which has me Bummed. Out.

I have set up two Christmas trees for my weekend alone. Just trees and lights; well, only one with lights so far. These were gleaned from the Parental Re-location Project clean-up last week. Yes, I took home some of it. No, I don't need more Christmas paraphenalia. Yes, I could use some Christmas spirit.

I just downloaded a cd of the entire Vorkosigan saga (except for Memory).  And I managed to both a) burn a cd and b) copy them all to my little Sony e-reader!!

At least I think the cd copied. Haven't been able to open it as of yet. Linux moves in mysterious ways....

Cookies underway. Dinner planned, tonight and tomorrow. The CSA gave us a half turkey in our Christmas basket! Yay! #2 is off on a bike ride with R. If we're going to have a sunny, warmish Christmas, might as well take advantage of it.
