Ok, so this morning, we woke up after Snowpocalypse v.2.0, brushed off our cars and went to embark on our errands. I had to get gas so that was our first stop, and at that point I noticed that my tire was almost as flat as Kansas, which is -- in fact -- flatter than a pancake ( Read more... )

Today is a day of accomplishments for me. I'm feeling optimistic and am looking forward to this weekend, which is weird. Normally when I go home I have a knot in my throat the size of a grapefruit.

I have to work in Minneapolis in 6 hours, and I'm snowed into my parents house in southern Wisconsin. Awesome.

Here is hoping there is absolutely no traffic and that the roads are clear so I can make it in the fair-weather 4.5 hours. Ha. Ha. Ha.

The drive down was brutal. Terrible detours... the trip was a nightmare. However, there ws a good stretch where I was in a Volkswagen caravan and it tickled me pink.
