This is the most complicated and confusing first week of a school I've ever had.  So many classes canceled and moved around.  It's really hectic.  Plus I don't have all  my books yet.  Which adds extra strangeness, as I can't even do some of the reading requirements.  Not off to a great start. I like the bags shows below.  I'd like to innovate on the already simple design and add some sort of grommet or cloth hoop that would allow for attachment to a backpack or purse, that way the kids or myself don't have to worry about misplacing the lunch bag and snack pouch.

Back aches are bother some!!  I've spent the past two days slumped over my sewing machines making tote bags into which I will place my OT Books on the off chance that I need to carry them everyday.  I decided it would be just fine a project even if I don't use them for carrying as I'll find a way to incorporate the bags into the books storage ( Read more... )

I'm having this weeird desire to make fridge magnets out of everything.  There are a couple  birthday cards that I want to attach magnets to, some quotes from my favorite tv shows that I keep thinking would be great on a fridge, and other little things.

Magnets are silly.

The renegade Craft Fair was pretty fun.  I ended up talking with several  artists/booth runners, got a whole bunch of business cards so I can try and watch for many of the artists in the future and purchased a few items.

I've updated my puppet website yet again.  Found a picture for the main page that will do for the moment and is not flowers.  The new blue page is working for me.  I'm growing out of my black web page trend.  This is possibly helped along by the fun stationery that Yahoo mail now offers it's users.

Tomorrow I've got an interview with the Summer Art Academy Art Camp.  A summer school art camp. Sounds like a pretty good job to me.  It would allow for some creativity and keep my weekends free.  Granted it would just be a summer job, but who can argue with that ( Read more... )
