The Women's World Cup has been going on for quite some time.

I'm proud to say that USA has made it to the Semi-finals.  After a heart wrenching game against Brazil with numerous questionable calls on the ref's part, we still came out with a win.

New York just voted and passed the bill to legalize same sex marriage and the Gov. Cuomo is set to sign the bill!!!  Hurray!!

Though it still makes me sad to think that the east coast, as up tight and snooty as they tend to be, is beating California yet again in the race to allow constitutional rights to all people.  ( Read more... )

The wind and I have a rough relationship.  There are very few times that I actually enjoy being around the wind.  I like it if it's really warm and the wind brings some cool air.  I tollerate it when I want to fly a kite.  But generally I greatly dislike the wind.  It messes up my hair and rips bubbles away from my wand to quickly ( Read more... )
