Friday I spent a good three hours talking over wine and cheese with a couple who don't have Internet or tv in their apartment. Both Keith and Judd feel like it makes their home time more productive and relaxing. I am more than a little bit jealous.

This is the most complicated and confusing first week of a school I've ever had.  So many classes canceled and moved around.  It's really hectic.  Plus I don't have all  my books yet.  Which adds extra strangeness, as I can't even do some of the reading requirements.  Not off to a great start.
