One of the problems I struggle with is the feeling that people who disagree with me are wrong. I'm on Facebook now. The immediate use (distinguishing it from MySpace et al.) seems to be connecting my contact info to my real name in an easy-to-find place that still gives me veto power over who sees it. It occurs to me that I'm playing three distinct roles in Invocatio, and it might be useful for me to clarify exactly what those are and what I need to do to be successful at them.

In retrospect, one of the smartest things I've ever done was taking enough judo so that when I fall - say, due to my inherent clumsiness on some stairs - my body's reaction is to try turning it into a roll rather than just landing on my face.

That's probably all the judo I remember, except for maybe a simple hip throw.

Some ideas that may not be connected. Or they may.

It seems sometimes like I have a very event-driven life, and the only time I usually see people is in association with some project or other. When I get down time, I usually spend it alone. I'm not entirely sure that's how I want things to be.
