Since I haven't posted anything remotely resembling an update in months, I thought I would take the night off from fall semester prep and jot down a few bullet points. Facebook has made me way too lazy, in that I can post a one-sentence update in my "status" and call it a day. Maybe I should just give up and look into Twitter?

This weekend kind of sucked for various reasons, which I don't particularly feel like getting into. There are three weeks left in the semester, which is great, but I have too much to do in those three weeks, which is less good. It was about 65 degrees today and the robins and cardinals are out full-force (I wish they would discover my feeders, though). Yesterday we played down by the river for a couple of hours, then took a drive in a thunderstorm. Today we went to Uptown to watch classic cartoons and eat breakfast. It's been snowing heavily since 8 a.m. I have not had heat in my house since sometime last Wednesday night. My landlord dicked around Thursday and Friday trying to fix it himself, then finally called a repairman who was supposed to come today.

I promised an update, but I'm not really in the mood.
