Government of Ontario could save some money by sending only one home care RN to see a new patient. Instead, they sent a "Rapid Response" RN complete with laptop and yours truly with a semi-smart phone and a sheaf of papers. Not home
Complaining of diarrhea but taking laxative every night. Afraid to stop in case of constipation. Can't make this up.
Call man to ask re need for visit at 10 am. He refuses. Wife calls at 3pm to tell me the opposite.

Pain and heart racing, dizzy. Not coping at all today.

I can send money just about everywhere on the planet. Why does it take 4 sheets of paper, a fax machine and umpteen phone calls to order necessary supplies for a dying man? FFS, we are saving mega bucks by caring for people in their homes, don't make it so much harder. Never mind leaving the poor paralysed man sitting in his own you know what.

Not this nurse. Office tried to get me to deal with on-call issue when I'm not on call. I'm supposed to deal with problem because nurses who are on-call aren't responding to calls, emails. Work Blackberry is dead, Again! To get a replacement battery I have to drive 100 km round trip. Dear supervisor, that useless, badly designed and ineffective computer charting won't be done til you can give me some reliable technology. Home support worker( ranty rant )

While it's cold outside, it's cozy and warm inside. It took a week for the house to recover from JSG messing with the heating system. Buildings take time to warm up. I had forgotten that in all the stress of the last few weeks. So relieved. Despite being given over a week to get it ready, the blackberry administrator managed to foul up the temporary that I picked up yesterday. This is to replace the new one I was given the week before that has had serious problems since day 1.  Email is not working, password into special app decided to change itself after an hour.
