As my head seems to be causing me so much grief, it might make me feel better if my hair was a bit less of a disaster. It's naturally messy curly, wavy. More fine than it used to be. Am way late posting this. I became a fantastic aunt again in August. Rebecca Edwina . The Edwina is in honour of my mother.( pics )

I took this solistice night- also the night of the eclipse- but I was too tired to stay up to try and take a pic. My digital pics are not what I feel are true photography- mostly point and shoot as I have no understanding of how to use this vs my old film SLR.

One of my larger trees has become a wild turkey roost. Neighbors across the river feed them daily, so it's entirely possible that they will be with us for some time to come. I read this article and found that wild turkeys like to roost near water, this trees branches hang over the river.
