Memories
My nephew is very interested in history. With Remembrance day coming up, my sister asked if I could scan him some pictures of my parents in uniform during WW2.
Some background, in 1999, our family home burnt down, killing my mother. We lost all the family photos. I have been trying to replace them via relatives, but it's a slow process and people don't understand why we need them. Otherwise generous folks shuffle and forget.
