I can honestly say I’m happy to be seeing off this Fogust. As a rule I’m still keeping the nice stuff on here as opposed to the bad, but overall, ugh, what a crap month! So I did see Secret Life of Pets, after doing some shopping downtown with R and L ^^ There were some things I wasn’t super into about it, but other things I really loved! Basically the animation was gorgeous, I could see the effort that went into it with accuracy to real life animal movements balanced with aesthetically pleasing transitions. ( Read more... )

I haven't checked in for a bit; it's been a harried month...around here we're all giggling bleakly about how 2016 is the year of death (it does unsettle one a bit extra!) The wedding was between R's cousin F and his awesome Scottish bride who spoke Spanish like a champion. The whole day was dedicated to that for all of us, and it felt good...we all came to celebrate their reception at the other Air BnB'ed house, all dolled up for the day.
