For the most part I really enjoy my e-reader. It lets me carry books - and yes, fanfic - for ready anywhere and anywhen. And it fits in my purse. An added bonus is that I can jot notes - either with an onscreen keyboard or with the stylus.

And if I can write notes, I can also sketch ( like this )

Is anyone else finding that LJ is really slow to notify about comments? *grumblegrumble*

I've had home internet access issues for a while now. I've narrowed it down to the cable connecting my laptop to the modem. There is a fault..somewhere. Is anyone else having issues with lack of comment notification? As far as I can tell, it's been a few days since I was notified of a comment and only found out quite by accident.

It's after 11pm and the temp is 27C humidex 37C (81F/98). Now, I do realize some of you have it much worse, but I'm a northern child... And on top of it all mom is having a hard time breathing because the air is so thickAnd the power went out.
