My mom's sister Yolande came in to see mom for her birthday (which is also my birthday). She arrived Monday afternoon and is here until next Monday. Ma tante is a firecracker. Mom is being released today. At some point. Whenever the doctor signs the paperwork. I'm using one of my vacation days to do this.

I just got back from the ER. I've had to keep it together for the last 6 or 7 hours and I'm...finally having my breakdown.

No. Mom's not dead. Please, God, I won't get that call in the night.

Da would have been 87 years old today. On Tuesday there will be a memorial Mass for him. I've arranged to come in to work late so I can be there with Mom.
