anyone got lumber?
Um...someone just gave me a plot bunny. I opened my email and there it was, staring up at me, wiggling its cute little nose and pretending to be all innocent and sweet.
*looks at overflowing plotbunny hutch*
It looks like I'll have to build an addition. I've never had anyone hand me a bunny before. *is puzzled* I mean, it is cute...

So. I haven't been around much. Family drama has been minimal, which is kind of nice. Work is fairly steady, which is also nice.
Basically, I've been writing my litttle heart out. I've finished my werewolfbigbang fic. It's a little over 34,000 words. I'm just doing a fast preliminary edit, so the word count may vary slightly, but not much.
It'll be posted somewhere around Halloween or early November, I believe. The story is based on Due South, and Ray Kowalski is the werewolf. It was fun to write. And I think I have to look into introducing two of my original characters into other fandoms - they made me giggle, even if they only had limited or no actual screen time. In my head, they have backstory.
Holy. Crap. I can't believe I actually got that puppy done.
Anyone want to beta a werewolf fic? *collapses*

Now. I have another bigbang that must be done. I have to cough up at least 6000 words by September 7, which is the check-in date. The fic must be a minimum of 12k, so by next weekend I need to be half done with a detailed summary of how the story will be finished. I have less than 300 right now. But no pressure, right...?

In other news, mom has climbed in weight. She is now 84 pounds. That, my friends, is exciting. She was only 78lbs when she left the hospital.

I've been collecting odds and ends to share with you, but that will have to wait until Sunday. I'm heading for bed right now and tomorrow is Saturday, which means chores. So, Sunday it is.
