While attempting to replace the light outside, the lightbulb broke right in my hand. I had this weird dream last night that I was at some kind of resort, and every night the owner killed a couple of members of his staff. While doing my regular volunteering at the library (i.e. calling in the reserved books), a guy I called told me that he knew me. I didn't recognize his name, so I just said, "you've probably seen me around." I meant at Stop and Shop, but looking back on it, that probably wasn't the right thing to say. It snowed all day today, and I do mean all day. Dave has a job interview today, in just a few minutes in fact. It's at the same company where my dad works, though in a different department. Hopefully it'll go well, and we'll hear back soon.

Update: Dave feels the interview went well, and he thinks he has a couple of aces in the hole, but he won't hear back until the end of the month.

Dave's folks got to our apartment close to four on Wednesday, and after giving them the tour (and telling them all about the toilet), we all just sat around and talked for a while. So Ponyo is coming to DVD in March.

Since today is my only day off this week, and also a Tuesday, Mom and I are going out to lunch, and then Dave and I are either going to see Zombieland or Where the Wild Things Are, depending on what time I'm done with Mom.

I had today off, so Dave and I went to see two movies, Ponyo and District 9 (one guess on which of us picked which movie). Ponyo was seriously cute, and the art was gorgeous ^_^ But the showing we were at had a bunch of kids that laughed at everything, which was kind of distracting during the more serious parts. So today is Dave and my first wedding anniversary, but since I had to work today, we did our celebrating yesterday, which I had off, by way of an extremely last minute trip to NYC.
