The Dark Knight, I mean.

Seems like everyone in fandom has seen it, except me.  I went to the early matinee this morning, by myself.

I liked it a lot.  Can't say I loved it, although Christian Bale was yummy, as usual.  And Heath Ledger's Joker was as phenomenal as I've heard.   (Gary Oldman and Aaron Eckhart were great too.)

Saw Star Wars III Monday (I decided to wait until after the madness of opening weekend). With ticket prices these days, I usually wait for movies to go to the cheapie $2 theatres or for DVD, but a movie like this HAS TO BE SEEN on a huge screen with a great sound system, so I shelled out the $6.50 for a matinee ( Read more... )

I have to give a plug to a wonderful little gem of a movie, 'The Station Agent'. It didn't get any notice at the Oscars last year (although it did get an award at the Sundance Film Festival), but it was much much better than 'Mystic River' or 'Lost in Translation'.
