Apparently I do not know when my anniversary is.  On the way home from dinner at Solo Reuben claimed we got married on Gimmel Elul (how does one write that?) or the third of Elul and I was positive it was the second.  According to our invitation, Ketubah, and last year's calendar I am wrong. My wedding shower was today and it was wonderful. Obviously I am still very upset as seen in the entry below, but my friends threw a beautiful shower and made me feel incrediable. Like I thought birthday parties are the most center of attention party you can have, but my wedding shower was much better. The house was decorated with yellow streamers ( Read more... )

I am freaking out completely!  The shul, where my wedding ceremony will be held, had some minor water damage as in white peeling paint on parts of the ceiling when i first looked at it in April.  I tried to convince the caterer to write on the contract that if the shul was not fixed on time he should hire a crew to cover the damage with tapestry.
