Lots of wedding photos!

These ones in color were taken by
Jennzoidh

My thoughtful mother is fanning me. Check our my gorgeous hair color (that will never last). My sister is the one in black rolling her eyes.  The yellow necklace she is wearing were passed at at the reception. My brother-in-law threw one up in the air randomly and it landed right around my dad's neck.

Chani from my office is dancing for me. I have that silver shirt from Express too. Avital was wearing it in bronze. Susan, in teal, works in my office building and danced the most. Also she picked me up a lot. Adi in the black trumpet skirt works in Reuben's office and set us up with my ring designer.

Jennzoidh and me!

Everyone loved how I coordinated the outfits. Love the center pieces, hate who ever left the sticker on the vase.

Pretty! I just got my ring, before the reception and after the wedding ceremony. This is because it wasn't ready until the week before the wedding, when Reuben and I could not see each other. He offered to have someone give it to me earlier but I didn't think that'd be right.

This is my cousin (right) and her cousin, my cousin-in-common. We like to think we coined that term.

Chillin'

That is one of Reuben's bosses with his little boy on his shoulders or maybe it is Reuben's brother-in-law Moishe with my nephew Shuey (nickname for Joshua/Yeshua).  The guy with the beard is my friend from camp, Alana's date. There is a cute story behind this. They met at Rainbow Festival and he approched her because her hair was wrapped in a turban this special way done by people who study this type of yoga.  Later they found out they would both be in NYC at the same time and met up at my wedding.

This is the back of Alana's head.

My new nephew Menachem Mendal (ponytale) is on my brother-in-laws shoulders.  Menachem Mendal did a special little dance for me and later threw up.

My go worker, Mendy (he looks like he is being pushed) wore a yellow tie on accident.  Moishe (with my newphew -as in "new nephew") on his shoulders wore a yellow tie on purpose like most of our families.

She my arches? Everyone is waiting for Reuben and I to enter. We made them wait a while because we couldn't see each other before the wedding and we had fasted all day so we had to take pictures together and eat first.  On the far right is my boss Sam/Shmuel holding Naphtali who likes to play in out backing material and once hide my wireless mouse. His wife Tammy is sitting behind him.

They are still waiting. Reuben's eldest sister Shuly is pregnant in the blue gown. She has been pregant by all five of her siblings weddings.

Eli, with his wife on our right works in our office building too. He got me a great rate on my rental car. On his left is Shaindy, Reuben's boss' wife. She also danced a lot and picked me up.  That is a blonde wig, called a sheital she is wearing and I have no idea how she danced so much with that on her head. I need to get one soon and learn to dance with a hot head because I have a wedding to go to September 11th and I don't want to wear a scarf. I have a 3/4 wig that you wear with a headband covering the line in front but it makes my face look fat.

The red fire extinquisher really accents my center pieces.

Reuben came and veiled me and then everyone left to go to the ceremony. My niece Goldie is in gold, Mom is in navy and yellow, and my sister-in-law Rivkeh has her back to the camera.

Still veiled and slouching. On the left  with bangs is my niece Adina (I have two nieces named Adina).  Later she told her  mom that she danced with the princess in the yellow dress.  Reuben's mom, Shoshana is holding Shuey and  Liba is next to her with Goldie.

I wish these pictures showed more details on my dress. Very arty picture though a bit fuzzy.

Lea and my mom are getting me ready (at this moment-lots of people got me ready).

They are putting on my cape. I did my own make-up and did a wonderful job if I do say so my self. Lea did the blush.

Dave, Lea's new husband (she doesn't have an old one) wore a yellow tie.

I am drinking water.

She my slippers? They were a gift from my nieces at my shower.

I entered through the left door. I wonder if some people entered through the other door. The aisle looked much prettier when all the daisy bowels were on top of the branches.

My dad and step-dad walked Reuben down the aisle. He is wearing a kittel which is a white robe he pinned up so it wouldn't look like he was wearing a skirt under his tux. Kittels are worn on Yom Kippur by most men and you are buried in it (hence why he hides it under his blazer lest anyone get confused). It is meant to look angelic and pure because they say you are forgiven for all your sins on your wedding day and it is a personal yom kippur.

I am walking with my mom and Reuben's mom trying to figure out how other brides carry their daisies and read from their tehillam (song of psalms) at the same time. Eventually I gave up and made up my own prayers.  I gave the mothers corsages which I don't think they liked but as you can see a bouquet might have been a fire hazard.

Reuben had time to pray while waiting for me.  Now neither of us can find our books.

Isn't our chuppah pretty?  I wish we could keep it but it cost enough to "rent" it. They only reuse the branch things. I told the florist to make it look like a lemon tree without lemons. I mean, a lemon can fall on someone's head.  You can't see but there is a tallis thrown crookedly on top by Reuben's brother because the florist forgot that chuppah means "wedding canopy" and a canop needs a roof!

I made faces at everyone who could see under my veil.  There was a lot of confusion under the chuppah. When the rabbi read the ketubah he couldn't read someones name and called him out from his pew to read his name correctly.  My mother-in-law kept stepping on my dress, neither mother held my train, and it was very crowded up there. Check out my pointy sleeve.

Reuben broke the glass in one shot.

We are about to enter the reception.

Eli, from my office is wiping Reuben's sweat and Reuben is pretending not to mind. This guy gave Reuben bruises on his arm when he tried to dance and swing him and Reuben didn't want to move.

Someone is doing a funny dance for us. Apparently I love it and Reuben is just tired.

See the teeny braid in my hair?  I took out 65 bobby pins the next day. This was my first up-do ever and probably my last.

This is Moshe, one of Reuben's bosses swinging with Reuben.

I have no idea who's shoulder's Reuben is on.  Love the hat though, I told him I wanted him to wear a hat like that on Shabbos and at parties and holidays (some men wear them everyday) and Reuben, who had not worn one since high school where you have to bought this hat the weekend we got engaged.

I think that is my old boss Reuben is dancing with. He had a cast on because he broke his foot earlier.

This is more or less my office with some past co-workers. They wanted to take a picture with us.

Loved my chair. That salad was yummy. You don't get to eat much of your wedding food.

Reuben with his current and past boss. From what I've heard the open bar and extra bottles we put on tables were well appreciated.

Adi and Shaindy are carrying me to Reuben.  My sister-in-law Tovah from Israel is spotting.
