Vacation is SO CLOSE! It's really amazing how much the weather affects my mood. Even though I KNOW it does, it still always surprises me just HOW drastically my mood improves just by the sun coming out. After two days of clouds and rain (and Wednesday was AWFUL, it wasn't just gray clouds, it was BLACK clouds and severe storms and I just couldn't get out from under it ( Read more... )

Well, I am now, as of yesterday, officially a quarter of a century old. My birthday was pretty good overall, although I didn't really do anything to celebrate (it's hard to do so when it's mid-week). Well, I'm back at work once again. This weekend was a mixed bag, but overall I think it was good to get away. I spent a good chunk of the weekend bonding with Marcus's sister (who is 14, and the only girl in a house full of brothers and stepbrothers), lol...she's sweet.
