"Wait, they don't love you like I love you..."

Well, I'm back at work once again. This weekend was a mixed bag, but overall I think it was good to get away. I spent a good chunk of the weekend bonding with Marcus's sister (who is 14, and the only girl in a house full of brothers and stepbrothers), lol...she's sweet. Physically, I think I am much more well-rested than I was before the weekend, despite getting up before 10 every day except yesterday. Emotionally, I'm still sort of all over the place. Saturday night, I finally told Marcus that I love him, but I'm not sure if I'm still "in love" with him. We had talked several times previously about how I've been confused and doubting, but this was the first time I put it in such definite terms. He was very supportive as always, and comforted me more than he knows by telling me that, best case scenario, we'll be together forever, get married, have a family, and grow old together, and worst case scenario, we'll break up but still be good friends. I'm really glad he doesn't see a path where we aren't a part of each other's lives anymore...no matter what. Then, yesterday, he worked all day, while I went and had brunch with Pearl, then went grocery shopping, and then proceeded to sit on my butt watching tv for the next 7 hours until he got home :-P My eating schedule is all out of whack too, haha, I ate brunch at 1:30 (normal enough), then ate an entire bag of popcorn at like 4:30, and as a result, wasn't hungry and didn't eat dinner until after Marcus got home, around 10. I did watch a bunch of really good movies on tv though, including "Now and Then", "Stand By Me" (in part) and "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King" (my favorite of the trilogy - as third installments usually are - including that one scene towards the end where the fellowship is reunited and that moment between Frodo and Sam...it makes me bawl like a baby every time, and yesterday was no different!). Then Marcus and I played cards and talked for a couple of hours, and I felt much better about us and about my future.

We talked about what basically at this point amounts to a pipe dream for me to chase, haha, but who knows, maybe someday it'll actually become a reality. I may write more about it at a later date, if it continues to actually develop.

It's getting to be that wonderful time of year...when all my favorite TV specials are on! ;) Rudolph is on at 8 pm on Wednesday (yes, THIS Wednesday), and Charlie Brown Christmas is on at 8 pm next Monday! You can bet where I'll be at both of those times, hehe...parked in front of my tv! And also taping them so I can watch them again with Marcus when he gets home ;) Most specials I watch once a year and that's enough for me. These two, I could watch over and over again (and I have!) and never get sick of them. Especially Rudolph. I can't wait to watch them again!!!
