It's really difficult to top the sucess that was Avengers, because its a simple fact of escalation - it needs to be 'more!' Also, the three intermediary movies (Iron Man 3, Thor 2 and Cap 2) were pretty darn awesome IMHO with the only downside to each movie being.... no avengers. I caught the last 30 minutes of the Avengers on tv last night and that particular section of the movie makes me smile like a loon and squeal with glee every single time.
