I had a great day today. It started off with Daniel and I going to a Buddhist meeting. It was our monthly district study meeting, which is one of the few meetings I get to attend during the month, since the bulk of them are on Thursdays. I haven't posted for a long time. I'm reading, but I just haven't felt a strong urge to post. So now I'm posting.

At the beginning of September, I went on a Young Women's Division Retreat put on by the Buddhist organization I'm part of, the Soka Gakkai International. It sparked a stronger, more intensively dedicated turn to my practice. Things in ( Read more... )

We've been playing a lot of WoW lately, even more than usual, so I haven't been doing much else online except brief checks of email and lj and wikipedia.

My garden is sprouting seedlings. They're really tiny, but they're there. I need to spend more time with it, but last week was really crazy with my work schedule, and this week I'm working 6 days. Been meaning to post for awhile. I've been distracted too much by WoW, certainly, but I'm also pleased to report that I've been spending my time well in other ways.

• I'm going to form dreads. I've been wanting them for awhile and I've decided to break up the inhibitions. Today is day 3 of not brushing my hair. I've washed it, but no brushing.
