Yesterday and today I have been sick. This has both positive and negative effects.

I finally told her how I feel.

What a release from fear! Now I can be a true friend to her and true to myself.

Two personally significant dates were this past week. The 18th marked my third year with Daniel. Today was intense. I am taking today through Tuesday off of work, to give myself a little break before school, and for the first day of school. Hypothetically this is so I can get all organized. My life is so amazing, I'm shocked I haven't written more about it. But perhaps that's because I've been so busy with it! I've also been participating on a Buddhism forum, writing snail mail to a Bodhisattva, and studying, amongst other things.

I had a great day today. It started off with Daniel and I going to a Buddhist meeting. It was our monthly district study meeting, which is one of the few meetings I get to attend during the month, since the bulk of them are on Thursdays. I'm pretty tickled about my day so far. I've determined to have a garden this summer. Yesterday I spent several hours at Home Depot, getting materials. I lugged about half of it home yesterday in a plastic wagon-type thing. I got up early today and brought the rest of it home. It was hard work, but it felt so good and satisfying. I had a lovely morning. I woke up at 7:30 and started on Daniel's Valentine. I wrote his name out and "I love you" in Hershey Kisses. He stirred several times while I was working on it and I kept hoping he wouldn't wake up before I finished.
