Home and loving it
I'm back!
Yesterday was kind of nuts, because I left Phoenix about 3 am Boston time, and arrived in Boston 9:30 am. I rushed home, took a shower, put a few things away, and went to work. Coming home was lovely. I opened the door of my room and was greeted by flowers! Pale yellow lillies, calla lillies, mums, and roses adorned my desk. A lovely note was written on the board, fit to melt me where I stood. I started some soup and was getting worried I wouldn't see Daniel before I had to leave for work, but he arrived soon enough. I started work at noon.
After work he met me and we shopped, then we went home and he spoiled me. He made dinner while I had a bath. Then we played WoW. He's finally hit 60, and I'm close to 61, but last night I helped his 18 hunter dwarf get a pet spider from Azuremyst. Anyway, after that, he gave my feet a very nice massage.
Doing Gongyo was especially nice this morning. It's much nicer to look at the Gohonzon than a blank wall, and I'm happy to be doing Gongyo with Daniel again.
Now if only I could find my glasses....
