I biked to work today. I felt like I burned more calories than I usually eat. It also felt like I hadn't been biking all winter. The ride home seemed very long. It's more time than I want to spend commuting ( Read more... )

We went out and took some pictures of the snow.

I shoveled my Mom's sidewalk and driveway, and shook as much snow as I could off the lower limbs of the magnolia trees.

I'm going to try to head back to VA this evening. I have to be at work Monday afternoon.

I put up a hook yesterday for anniemal to hang a bird feeder. It should keep the birds from scattering the seed on the ground they way they do when she puts seed on the railing of the deck to feed them, and we don't think the squirrels will be able to get to it. It's just outside the kitchen window, so it will be fairly convenient for her to watch ( Read more... )
