Maybe I "took" to contra dancing because it was the first dancing I'd ever done that was connected to the music. There'd been other forms of dancing, but it was just in time to the music, but not really connected to it; the music could have been almost anything. Some guy said "Nice tricycle" as I went by today. I didn't stop to engage him in conversation, but it just proved he knows nothing about recumbents in general or tricycles in particular. I received some unsolicited email from Faith Mason at ElderImpact.Org about "11 health and safety resources for our seniors". But it wasn't bulk spam sent by malware on a computer or from a hacked account. It was sent to me individually as the webmaster for the Ad Hoc Singers.
