After 3 lectures in biochemistry, I have fallen asleep, followed along avidly, and been bored nearly to sleep in that order. I've realized my deal with chemistries is that imagining bonds and structures and blahdy blah blah bores me to tears whereas the one lecture that actually covered more of chemistry in actual use kept me awake. So I finally heard back from the grad school late on Friday. I'm officially in as a "special graduate student." I'm still not quite sure what that entails, if anything. I was bored and trying to think of something to do instead of passing out in a nap when I decided to start looking into classes to take in the fall. Going into my last exams for the two classes I'm taking I have a 99 and a 93 average. This means I can make a 62 and an 82 respectively and still get an A. Yes, this is really motivating me to study. O_o

I got a 97 on my other test 2. I'm honestly not sure how that's happening. I don't feel I really gave the material much more than a cursory first reading.
