So I finally heard back from the grad school late on Friday. I'm officially in as a "special graduate student." I'm still not quite sure what that entails, if anything. That may be just so they can get around the rule that they can't let me into the graduate school without a GPA of 3.0. I emailed the program advisor asking if, as he'd said before, I needed to get him to sign off on classes and he said no, I didn't, now that I'm considered a gradute student. Hmm. OK...
I really have no idea where to start. Hopefully I will get a helpful registration packet early next week. The advisor did say he was meeting with the new Masters students late Tuesday, so I'm zooming over there straight from work. I need to figure out which classes I'm going to be able to get into so I can let my boss know when I'm actually going to work. I've been waiting to hear from these people and it's really unfair, in the work I do, to only be giving 2 or maybe 3 weeks of heads up that I'm only going to be around half the time.
