My dad managed to contract yet another cold, which he then passed on to me. Unlike the last one, it isn't a really horrible one and the physical effects of the hormones have settled down that I don't have to cope with that and the cold. After a good long break, I came back to the neoliberalism article and started rewriting it from the beginning. One of the major changes was that I removed the rigid pre-categorisation and instead opted for a more narrative and historical flow to the article, and this seems to have worked wonders for the clarity and decreased the bias considerably ( Read more... )

Yesterday saw the government spending review. Ironically, just a few days before, I'd finished a much better variant of the theory section for the shock therapy article on Wikipedia. So far the computer recasing has been working well. I replaced my processor with another from the computer whose case I was borrowing. This one had a much larger heatsink, and even though the computer, cased up, is as hot as my previous one was, and I still need to get more fans, the heatsink alone makes sure that my processor is idling at 10 ( Read more... )
