1. What did you do in 2014 that you'd never done before?

• Sold a short story (two, actually).
• Got paid for nonfiction writing for the first time (sold a short piece to The Toast and got my advance for my book).
• Saw my first book come out in hardcover, audio, and eBook. Wow!

• I stayed in San Francisco and returned on Monday! More lovely times playing with my nephew Ash and hanging out with my mom, my sister P, and my brother-in-law Y.

• Spoke on an asexuality panel at a conference.
• Let a homeless friend move in with me until he could find a job and a place to live.
• Got a book deal.
• Was on a live TV show (well, webcast).
• Was on a live radio show (that wasn't a podcast).

Hi silly kids! Here is my picspam for my lovely holiday gifts sent by a variety of awesome friends! I just haven't gotten around to writing it up until now because my friend Richard was visiting until this morning.
