• Saturday was my big Halloween party! I went out before it got too hot and swept my porch down for outdoor loiterers . . . and found a wasp nest had taken up residence under the table. • Saturday was my Halloween party! I got the house ready and had time for a leisurely breakfast before preparing my costume and putting out the labels for the various dishes. I spent the morning baking the last two things, the later morning and early afternoon cleaning and arranging stuff for the party, and the evening, well, having the party.
