Dance etiquette
The multi-stake YSA dinner/dance was this past Friday night. I always think of it as re-visiting high school dances; the limited play-list, the gym decorated with Christmas lights and gauze, the line dances, the two-to-one girl to guy ratio on the floor. Books that should be read
I admit I don't read as much as I used to. It's too dangerous. When I start reading I do not stop until the book is done, and then I can accomplish nothing else until the after-effects wear off. I would get no sleep.

Summer project (well, one of them . . .)
Anyone know of a good series/publisher/author of books on teaching yourself a foreign language? It is my summer project to start learning French, and I would like some recommendations of good textbooks. New fantasy book
I read a book over this past weekend (don't worry, I'm paying for it now), but I thought I'd take a moment to post about it. It is entitled Elantris, by Brandon Sanderson (incidentally, I believe he is working on the last Robert Jordon book). It is not your typical fantasy.
