Summer project (well, one of them . . .)
Anyone know of a good series/publisher/author of books on teaching yourself a foreign language? It is my summer project to start learning French, and I would like some recommendations of good textbooks. I am, after all, a poor college student who finds it expensive and inconvenient to go take classes at some community college, and I am pretty much not allowed to take summer classes at my university.
