I went shopping yesterday at the mall for jewelry.  I was looking for pieces to complete a dance outfit, so big and flashy were the important characteristics I was hunting.  The trip ended with me holding up pair after pair of gold hoop earrings, trying to see which size I wanted to buy.

I did not buy the largest pair.  I thought they looked silly on me.

I did not think it possible I would consider a pair of earrings too large for dancing any more.  I'm happy to be wrong.
