Tonight I made my first homemade alfredo sauce. I'm struggling with it because while the flavor was just about perfect, the consistency was only good when it was piping hot. Sooo... since we roasted that whole chicken, we knew we'd have a couple chicken dishes this week with the leftovers. I'm still excited about that new recipe to make pasta I found last week, and we knew fettuccini alfredo had to be on the list! I had quite possibly the best pizza I've made yet, last night. It was so tasty, I burned my mouth on it in more than one place. Yep.. it smelled THAT good! I should know better to realize the 'touch' test doesn't work with the same way with your mouth as it does with your finger. It still hurts today ( Read more... )
