Reasons why the past two days should really be ending with beer:

• I will not be Teaching for Ameria
• I am once again single
• Birdy has lost her shoes twice - making us late both times
• It's that time of the month, and I didn't realize it until I needed new pants - at work
• I therefore had to take an hour off of work (joy... more money gone) to buy new pants

Well, it's finally time to say goodbye to summer vacation; school starts tomorrow. I know, you can throw cabbage if you like, but I was enjoying spending time with Birdy and having a break. Hmmm... I wonder, could this be me already? Some days I sure feel like it. Ren Faire was great fun. We did the Bromely Dance with deer antlers on sticks and got "Hail the Pagans!" everytime we went around the Faire. It was great! So, I have a moment of proud, my first hanks of yarn are hanging outside drying. I actually plied my gray and natural yarns to make a really pretty super-bulky yarn. To set the twist on homespun, you dip it in hot water. (this is the weird part) Upon putting the yarn in the water, it begins to smell like wet sheep.
