Well.. the surgery went ok... they took out a flap of cartilage but were able to leave the majority of it so the arthritis shouldn't set in for at least a little while. It hurts but it's doing ok. I'm actually able to walk around some with only one crutch this morning. So it's doing better than I thought it would be. I'll keep everyone posted. ( Read more... )

So, the good news is I wasn't making it up. The bad news is that I have a complex medial meniscal tear in my left knee (in layman's terms I have a combination of tears in the cartledge between the bones of my left knee) ouch!
