Pain and a goofy grin.
So, the good news is I wasn't making it up. The bad news is that I have a complex medial meniscal tear in my left knee (in layman's terms I have a combination of tears in the cartledge between the bones of my left knee) ouch! Next Monday I get to go see a surgeon and then we'll figure out when the surgery will be. Sigh. The difficult part is that we won't know if it's reparable or not until they get in there. Just what I needed.
The goofy grin... well, :D a friend came back for a musicology symposium this past weekend and we hit it off in a way we'd both only been pussyfooting around when he was here. Needless to say I really enjoyed spending time with him... no one's held my hand in a long time. Thus the goofy grin this week. :D
