Please Gods, can this just work for once?

So this has been an interesting week. (I'm sooo being sarcastic). Lets back up a couple of days.

Wednesday: I went to visit the graduate secretary person to ask about deadlines. Sigh. I must have my orals completed by July 11th. There goes almost two weeks. Ok, I can handle this...

OK... until... du du duhhhhh, my babysitter suited up the Birdy and decided to meet me at Murphy Hall, aka my second home, for post SAI food... we got finished early, so as I was dropping off a friend she got a call and handed the phone to me...

"Hey, don't worry everyone's ok, but..." Some frat boy had decided to try to make a left hand turn from the right hand lane of Tennessee (a one way street) and had turned into my front passenger door. Luckily they weren't going fast and he must have realized that there was a car there because the damage wasn't too bad. well... at least the front door opens enough that I can unlock Birdy's door. And yes, everyone is just fine... Birdy doesn't even seem to be afraid of the car... but now I get to deal with insurance companies. Joy.

Thursday: I finally took myself to the chiropractor. woo hoo! So it turns out that at some point in the past I injured my back and now it's attempting to hunch. Ahh.. this explains the incredible shrinking woman (I used to be almost an inch taller and at another point was an inch shorter than I am now). Ok... oh, and my neck is attempting to straighten out instead of having a curve... fun. So now I get to go back to the chiropractor every day for a week and three days a week for a month. Fun.

I also found out that my second musicologist can't sit on my committee and the person I asked to fill in for my second woodwind performer doesn't want to.

Friday: Already this morning it's been fun. I'm mildly sore from the chiropractor. Birdy didn't take a nap yesterday, fell asleep before dinner, and insisted on nursing about every half-hour all night. So I'm tired. I missed my normal bus and so I checked my e-mail. One of the two remaining ww performance faculty will be out of town this summer. So I'm down to one person, and he doesn't like oboists... he grades us all very hard. Great.  This should be fun... and it's only 9:40 am!
