We just got back from nearly two weeks in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona. It was fun! We ate a LOT. I haven't checked my weight yet (I'm a little scared to), but my pants still fit so all is well I guess. D: I went to yoga for the first time in two weeks this morning and it hurt so good! Yeah!

It's cold and rainy and I'm staying inside today!! Although later on when RooG gets home we're going to dine at Booger King and try out their new burgers. The description of the Avocado Burger claims that it's "full of vegetables and avocado so it's healthy!" Somehow I doubt the last part of that sentence. But that's ok!!

My latest yogic obsession is BACKBENDS. Someday I want to be able to do really crazy bends, so I'm taking it slow and practicing little backbends (like Camel and Wheel) so that hopefully I can someday transition into the really nutty stuff. The best part is, it's working! My back really is able to bend deeper than it was before ( Read more... )

You probably know that I'm addicted to hot yoga. I go to Lava pretty much every day for my fix. Lava has a 90-minute lesson called Regular Course. I did some research and found out that Regular Course is pretty much a direct copy of the original hot yoga, Bikram yoga. Only one pose differs between Lava's Regular Course and the Bikram series. I bought a JUICER!!! I was always interested in the powers of juice, but never got around to actually buying a juicer. Then, the other day at yoga, out of the blue Tomoike-sensei was like "Do you have a juicer?" and I was like "No, do you??" and she said "Yeah, I just got one and it's great!
